AUSTIN, Texas · October 2026
The Community Development Bankers Association hosted Cashy at its Product Development Showcase on October 8, 2026, a webinar series that introduces the association’s member banks to new tools for their communities.
The association’s members are certified community development financial institutions and other mission-driven banks serving low- and moderate-income communities across the country.
“The Showcase series is an opportunity to learn about new tools, explore their practical applications, and consider how they might support the work of mission focused banks.”
Sarah Wen, Senior Director of Programs, Community Development Bankers Association, opening the showcaseCashy CEO Mart Vainu then walked the association’s members through Cashy’s platform, how it works, and the opportunities for banks to use it to strengthen financial education and customer engagement.
He covered the three ways institutions use Cashy: live workshops any staff member can run, a self-paced Learning Center for the bank’s website and mobile banking, and Classroom Curriculum for the schools a bank sponsors. Everything reports into one dashboard that shows CRA service hours, reach by ZIP code, leads, and pre and post survey results.
The session was run the way a Cashy workshop runs. Attendees joined on their own devices and played Money Talk and Cashy Bingo live, with the Bingo round won by a member of the association’s own team.
“Community development banks serve the communities where financial education matters most, usually with the smallest teams. When any staff member can pick up Cashy and run a session that counts toward CRA, that team just got a lot bigger.”

More than 50 banks and credit unions run Cashy in their workshops, on their websites and online banking, and in the local schools they sponsor. Learn more at cashygame.com.
