AUSTIN, Texas · July 2026
Cashy is the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Credit Union Financial Education Network conference, held July 26 to 29 at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. It is the first presenting sponsorship in the organization’s history.
The Credit Union Financial Education Network is the professional body for credit union financial educators. It began as the National Youth Involvement Board and widened its mission from youth financial education to reaching every age group. Its members are the staff who actually stand in front of classrooms, branches, and community rooms.
“We are proud to announce that Cashy is officially the Presenting Sponsor of the CUFEN 2026 Conference in San Antonio, Texas. This marks an exciting milestone as we welcome our first-ever Presenting Sponsor.”
Credit Union Financial Education Network, announcing the sponsorshipCashy sponsored the pre-conference evening at the Buckhorn Saloon and Texas Ranger Museum, and Cashy CEO Mart Vainu led two Empower Hour sessions during the program, including one on what people are actually learning about money from social media in 2026.
“The Credit Union Financial Education Network’s members are the people delivering the sessions week in and week out, and they are also the people who tell us what is missing. Being their first presenting sponsor keeps us close to the group whose feedback shapes what we build.”
Mart Vainu, CEO, CashyCredit union financial education teams are usually small, often one or two people covering every school, branch, and community group in the footprint. The constraint is rarely curriculum. It is how many colleagues will volunteer to stand in front of a room, and how much of the education lead’s week each of those sessions costs to arrange.
Cashy is built for that shape of team. A colleague who has never presented can be handed a session and run it after one walkthrough, which is how UFCU grew its volunteer presenter program from zero to 25 in a year and is now past 40.
The conference draws financial education staff from credit unions across the country, the people who run classroom visits, branch sessions, and community events rather than the people who buy software. The 2026 program ran from July 26 to 29 and included the network’s Legacy in Motion Award, which honored Trysh Olson’s contribution to the field.
Cashy also sponsored the pre-conference evening at the Buckhorn Saloon and the Texas Ranger Museum, which opens the week before the sessions begin.
